Hi, this is your Diabetes Coach Lucie and I would like to tell you that you are in the right place if you would like to:

  • Get rid of excess weight and feel your best
  • Have control over your Type 2 diabetes and live better

  • Avoid Type 2 diabetes if you are pre-diabetic

Your past experiences with diets and exercise may have left you with the belief that nobody understands your struggle, that you can’t trust anyone to help you and that despite your efforts, you can’t improve your current situation.

I would like to prove to you that it is not the case, and that your past experiences have taught you a lot, they’ve taught you what doesn’t work.

But if you’re here now, it means you haven’t given up.

There’s no such thing as impossible, there are obstacles in your way that are preventing you from getting where you want to be. My job is to help you identify those obstacles and get rid of them once for all.

My goal as your diabetes coach is that after my coaching and implementing what I teach you in my program, diabetes is no longer a challenge or frustration for you.

Well as strange as it may sound, I want to stop coaching you as soon as possible. Why? Because it means we both succeeded in reaching our goals and you now have all the tools you need to continue your journey without me. 
I’ll always be there when you need me, but I want you to be as independent as possible in your journey back to optimal health.
I want you to reach the stage where you don’t need me to motivate you or to give you tough love in order for you to stay on track, but rather for this to come from within you, effortlessly. 
And yes this goes against every business model which thrives on keeping their customers paying for a service. But when it comes to health struggles, it should never be used as a mean of making money. And it is definitely not what brings me satisfaction from my work, especially when coaching you, seeing you reach your goal and aiming at lasting results is my passion. I will teach you all I know in order to help you feel your best as soon as possible. 
1. If like me, you believe there must be more to this than taking diabetes medication everyday, you’re tired of your health depending on pills and doctors and you’ve taken steps to lose weight and become healthier but you don’t really know what to do, how to do it or if what you are doing works, which leads you to abandon the road
2. You constantly get boosts of motivation and lack of it making you start and stop your weight loss journey frequently
3. You feel you are alone facing diabetes and your doctors haven’t given you enough support and clarity, you want to know more about how this condition is affecting you, how you got here and what to do to gain back control and avoid complications
4. You think you know what you have to do and you know better than anybody else about your diabetes condition (which is probably true!) yet you’re at the same place you’ve been for the past year or more and feel stuck

My philosophy is that the cure to type 2 diabetes starts with the mind.

Nutrition and exercise can only be sustainable and efficient if they are done because you WANT to and not because you HAVE to.
There’s a reason you’ve been having a hard time with keeping healthy and this is what we need to address.
If you are constantly stressed and are not happy in your work, personal life and within yourself, you will have a very hard time transitioning to healthy habits and maintaining them.
Stress raises your cortisol levels, high cortisol levels literally make losing weight impossible because your body feels it is under attack and needs to be in ”fight mode”.
Stress basically shuts down your immune system and makes it easy for diabetes to take over your life because you are no longer in control when you don’t feel good.
It all starts with a clear vision of what you wish to achieve both mentally and physically. It is your #1 tool that will help you stick to what works for you. Your mind is the most powerful tool to change your body and claim it back from diabetes.
Happiness lies in the journey of knowledge and self-care and it is only once you are on it that you can be truly happy and healthy both inside and outside. Your weight loss will be a byproduct of your newly acquired mindset and perception on life.
